These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", "user") and Divinely.me ("Divinely", "we", "us", "our"). By registering an account, accessing, or using the Divinely service at divinely.me (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, without notice and without refund, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to report serious violations to relevant authorities.
All responses are generated by artificial intelligence (currently Google Gemini) and are subject to the following conditions:
Ownership of your content: You retain full ownership of all content you submit to the Service (messages, journal entries, prayer requests). By submitting content, you grant Divinely a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.
The Divinely name, wordmark, logo, product design, interface, and underlying codebase are the exclusive property of Divinely.me and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent. Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
The AI models underlying Divinely are owned and operated by Google LLC. Use of AI-generated outputs is also subject to Google's terms of service for the Gemini API.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by Divinely without restriction or compensation to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Divinely and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) £50 (fifty pounds sterling).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including EU and UK statutory consumer rights. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Divinely and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (c) any content you submit to the Service.
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
On termination: your access to the Service ceases immediately; your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy; provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by emailing support@divinely.me. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer law rights you may have in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
